Miscellany

I have lots of blog things planned for next week. I have been tagged in the "Writing is Like" Meme that will be posted next week. I also will be announcing my first blogfest to celebrate 100 followers. There may or may not be prizes awarded to random participants, so make sure to check back for the fun on Monday.

Today, I'm meeting some blogging friends for the first time, Krista at Mother. Write. Repeat. and Kelly Bryson at Book Readress. I haven't ever met any of my blogging friends in person, so I'm excited and slightly nervous. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Tomorrow, Gramma and Paca are coming to visit. (That's Grandma and Grandpa for the uninitiated.) The boys are so excited to be having a visit from their favorite people.

Sunday, I get to start a new position in my church. I'm the new head of the choir music. It's a baptism by fire sort of thing. I got asked to take the calling a week ago and we are performing for the first time this week. Ah! Good thing I'm musically inclined.

In the writing world, I'm still plugging away. I've got a new approach for the rewrite I've been doing and hopefully, it will make a difference in how fast things go. I have decided that I want to be done with this draft by the end of August. Hold me to it, okay?

And that's me, friends. What's going on in your world today?

I need lazy days of summer to start for sure!!!

I can't seem to catch a break these days, I have honestly worked myself until I get sick and crash! It's a sad state of affairs.

In the writing world I have a book coming out (no later than) June 25th and a book coming out at the end of July ahhhhhhh

Writing, also hosting a blogfest (Thanks for the shout-out on your sidebar - BTW)

Good luck in your new calling!! It's always fun/exciting to start something new.

I'm writing, forever writing. And then, today, I came up with a way to make the first book I wrote sellable. So, I'll dig into that one later on in the summer :D

Who said summer is vacation time? You sound like me. Busy. But busy can be good. Good luck with all that you have going on.
