Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Just so you aren't confused, there was no chicken dinner involved in the contest today. I was going to let my four year old help in the process of picking the winner, but it seemed a little less official. What did seem official was to go to a nifty site like random.org and let them tell me who won. And the winner is....

Chantele Sedgwick

Congratulations, Chantele. I will be emailing you to get your address so we can get your book in the mail. Thanks to everyone who participated and spread the word. I have some great friends in the blogosphere and I like you all. I wish I was comfortably well off so that everyone who entered could have a book. Maybe some day.

In other news, it's a busy week at our house this week. My father-in-law is bring a tractor over to help get rid of the weeds in our yard. We've got a full acre of land that is pretty much covered. (Remember that post from last week about pulling the weeds? There's two different varieties of pulling weeds. The delicate work around a flower garden and the wholesale tilling where you just start over. I hope my writing never has to be that drastic.)
Later in the week, hubby has a birthday, my brother and his wife graduate from college, and then it's Mother's Day. Lots and lots of things to do in between.

How about you, friends? How's the first week of May shaping up?

The end of this week is the LDS Storymakers Conference, so I'm excited for that! Wish you were going so I could meet you in person! Maybe next year? ;)

Congrats to Chantele!

Our plans this week consist of getting over sicknesses so we can go camping this weekend without that added burden :)

Have a great week!
