Progress Report, Sir

Well, it's been a while since I said anything about where I am. It's been a little scattered and hectic around here. I started a job a few weeks ago to get rid of a few bills. It's an online job with hours I can pick for myself, but figuring it all out has seriously cut into my writing time. I'd like to say that I had made some major progress on my writing, but I can't today. Maybe next week when I have a more regular schedule.

In other news, nothing much is going on. We've done all our traveling and vacationing and everything else, so we're home and having a good time just hanging out. I really like to be home. It's a funny thing because I always wanted to travel a lot, but having a house that's ours makes me want to stay here.

And that's about it for the day. How are you all doing, friends? Anything exciting right now?

All well in South Africa Kayeleen, I'm super excited because today I got a package in the post all the way from Jamaica. It's a book I won at: http://thecharacterdepot.blogspot.com/ a while back and totally forgot about,

I'm sorry your new job is cutting into your writing time, Kayeleen. That's got to be frustrating. And I know what you mean about being happier around home. Home is a good place.

Nothing too exciting going on around here. Querying kind of stinks right now, but other than that, life is good. Rephrase: Life is great.

I'm definitely a home-body but I'm looking forward to our vacation - ten days and counting! Good luck with finding a schedule that works :)

Juggling. Like always.

My family is complaining of a sore throat but nothing bad. The people who gave it to us told us it turns into a week long flu. Yay! Ask me how I'm doing in a couple of days ;)

My writing is behind as well. What else is new?

I like the odd vacation, but I really do love chillaxin' at home! Congrats on the job--I hope you can figure out how to fit writing in, too. ((Hugs))

I'm sure you'll find time to fit in some writing. Just wondering, what job did you start? I've been thinking of doing something similar.

We're renting a house right now, and I long for the day when the place I come home to is actually MY home :)

Not much going on with me--just trying to enjoy the summer. My older kids are going back to school in three weeks, which should increase my writing time a little.

Hey Kayeleen- very true about how a home makes traveling not as appealing. Like you, writing time has been hard for me to find, but this coming week I hope to get tons done. It will be the first week since school got out that I don't have a niece, a little sister or a summer exchange student staying with us! Have fun!
